GET INVOLVED

At Harrison Square, we believe that the Church is called to embody the hope of the gospel to a community beyond its walls. We believe that the best way to live out this high call, especially in a context like Lewis County, is through our mission of “Feeding people. Body. Mind. Spirit.” Everything we are as Church centers on this mission.

Missional Communities

Abundance Pantry

The Abundance Pantry is open every 2nd & 4th Wednesday of the month from 11:30-1:30pm. This ministry provides free fresh produce and groceries to anyone in need.  We encourage people to come and take an extra bag to share with others. It is our desire to offer tangible hope by feeding the body in a practical ways. If you would like to volunteer to help, please email our Director of Ministry, Rochelle Wagner.

Basic Needs Ministry

This ministry partners with Love Inc. to provide toiletries and basic necessities to those in our community that are experiencing financial difficulties. Donations and volunteers are always welcome. You can donate products for this ministry at HSPC in the donation bins by the Next Steps Wall.

Centralia Student Support

Harrison Square works with Centralia Elementary Schools’ staff to provide help to students and their families in need. Every week HSPC provides weekend food bags to 4 Centralia Elementary Schools that are given out to students. We also periodically purchase other necessary items for students ranging from school supplies to clothing items and help with holiday meals and gifts. We strive to meet the spiritual, physical, cognitive, social, and emotional growth of each child and family in a caring and supportive environment. Joyful Noise operates within the HSPC church building. To learn more about a Joyful Noise, visit the website by clicking below.

Candlewood

This ministry brings together people with and without disabilities to celebrate friendship, and to belong in community with each other and God. Every second Sunday of the month, volunteers lead a worship service at the Candlewood Apartments across the street from the Church. Musical talents and new friends are always welcome to join our Candlewood team.

HHCLC - Hope Housing Collaborative of Lewis County

Harrison Square is part of a collaborative of churches in Lewis County working together to help the unhoused of our community called Hope Housing Collaborative of Lewis County (HHCLC). Our purpose is to provide safe housing in a community environment where residents are supported and encouraged to pursue personal goals, including those of permanent housing and employment. Our vision is to create communities where every guest facing housing insecurities has access to resources and opportunities they need to take steps toward their goals. HHCLC is currently working to build a transitional housing village at HSPC as well as establishing a Safe Parking program hosted by churches in Lewis County.
