Opportunities to Connect

Godly Play

Godly Play is our Sunday School program for children 3-12 years. This ministry welcomes all children into the journey of learning about the stories of God and how much God loves them.  Each week they tell a story, do creative time and have a snack together. Godly Play is a creative, imaginative approach to Christian education and spiritual guidance. Godly Play has a Montessori foundation with 40+ years of research and practice. It is based on the idea that children learn through story, experience, and hands-on play.

You’ll notice right when you walk into a Godly Play room that it’s unique. The materials are mainly made out of wood and other natural materials. The room is quiet and nurturing. All of these qualities foster a learning environment ideally suited for young children.

Additionally, our Godly Play leaders have gone through extensive training.

Candlewood Ministries

Candlewood Ministries is a ministry that meets one Sunday per month at a neighborhood, state-funded apartment complex. The community brings together residents and non-residents, as well as people with and without physical and intellectual disabilities, to experience community and belonging together. The gatherings  include music, conversation, communion, and celebrating “Friends News”. According to residents, Candlewood has transformed the apartment complex from a place of isolation and loneliness to one of dense community and lasting friendship.

Game Night

Game Night is a community of people that love to have fun and connect over playing games.  This missional community seeks to bring people into deeper, more authentic friendships through having fun! Game Night is the first Friday of every month from 7-9pm.
